At last.
Back in March, Sardi's explained to Grub why, despite Hamilton's immense success, Lin-Manuel Miranda still hadn't been honored with a caricature on the restaurant's famous wall, where there are almost 1,000 drawings of Broadway legends. As it turns out, the achievement is harder to attain than a Grammy or a MacArthur "genius" grant.
"We're considering it," representative Eduardo Uribe said. "We're waiting to see how the spring plays out, Tony-wise." Christmas has come early for Miranda, as today Sardi's immortalized him.
